A huge thank you to Mrs O Brien and Ann Marie for organising the purchase of our graduation Class of 2022 jumpers.

To Emma for all her help with rehearsals and in classroom.

Mother Goose for making her return from 2015!!!!!!!

And finally to Mr O Shea for everything you did for our play. Your guidance is invaluable and we apppreciate it so much. And of course for the pancakes. Dress rehearsal celebrations are the best.

Wellbeing Festival 2022

The school enjoyed its second annual Wellbeing Festival on Tuesday the 21st of June. We are very lucky to have access to the local GAA pitch and Astro. Rang a Sé started their morning with their ’Rang a Sé Buffet’ breakfast. The children planned whAt they wanted to bring in, cooked at home and brought it in to the Buffet set up in their classroom. There was Irish breakfast essentials, waffles, fruit, tea, croissants and lots of Nutella. Great fuel for an action packed day to follow with Dance by Ellie O Donoghue, Tag Rugby with Josh and co and finally rounders ( always a hit and VERY COMPETITIVE).

School Tour

We travelled all the way to Irish National Heritage Park in Ferrycarraig and on to Tramore this year, our first school tour since 2019. We learned alot about the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Early Christian Ireland thanks to our amazing tour guide Paul. We were treated to ice cream in the Horse and Jockey Ballinabola.
We had a great time in Splashworld and Tramore Amusement Park and finally filled our bellies in Supermacs in Clonmel. We were delighted to have Mrs Finnan back with us for our last school tour too.

Aladdin Panto

We finally got to deliver our Aladdin Panto to our family and friends in the Parish Hall on Thursday the 16th of June. All children in 6th class rehearsed for many weeks and gave a wonderful show with Widow Twanky, Aladdin, Jasmine, Sapphire and more.. They were supported in song by their friends in third, fourth and fifth classes. It was a busy day with a matinee for the school and the main event in the evening.

We were delighted to have our school band take to the stage once again for the first time since the pandemic hit. A very proud night for us all.
