In September we studied the topic of St Ailbe and the church. We read lots of interesting articles, looked at work from children decades ago, watched videos and embarked on the heritage trail. We learned loads about the monastic site, the lake that once was and the importance Emly held. We understand how important it is to learn about our local church and area.
We observed many viewpoints of the church and drew it using charcoals, linking nicely in with exploring line in Visual Art.
in groups we completed projects and they were displayed for other classes to read and learn from.
