The Irish Famine

This term for both English and Art we started the novel Under the Hawthorn Tree , Miss Hartigan taking on the project of the famine cottages .

Our school held a fundraiser during the Christmas period of a non uniform day . The sum of €311.41 was collected and presented to representatives from Circle of Friends, Tipperary Town . Thank you to all who contributed. The children know how important it is to give...
