1st and 2nd class were learning all about nurses and hospitals for the month of March. At the end of this theme, we were lucky enough to have two local nurses come in and chat with us. One of the nurses is a director of nursing in a local nursing home and has lots of experience. The other nurse is a children’s nurse currently working in the emergency department of Temple Street in Dublin. Both nurses brought lots of equipment from their work places and the children were able to use these and ask lots of questions to both of our visitors.
