St Ailbe’s National School is located in Emly, Co Tipperary. It caters for boys and girls from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. We also have 3 special classes focused on catering for children with Autism. Our school is an all-inclusive school where every child is valued and welcome.
We are involved in a range of extra curricular activities like sports, drama and music.
St Ailbe’s National School has grown significantly in recent years.
We endeavour to foster a caring environment where all children’s strengths and talents are recognised and cultivated.
We are proud to have added lots of outdoor learning opportunities for our pupils in recent years using funds from our annual Bumper Draw. We have a beautiful Outdoor Classroom, a new Hexagonal House Greenhouse for gardening, playhouses and play equipment for our Junior Pupils to enjoy, and lots more besides.

Our “Birthday display” promotes a whole school wellbeing. It keeps us connected and makes us take notice of one another on our special day!
Our Feeling Wall.
As part of our SPHE lessons and STAYING SAFE, we have created a “How are you feeling?” display. It encourages everyone to label their feelings and helps us to be sensitive to the feelings of others.
