For the past number of years St Ailbe’s National School has asked parents to contribute a monthly sum of money to a school fund. This money goes towards sports, science, maths equipment, library books, online subscriptions, and Music etc. Buses to/from matches are also subsidised. Contributions also go towards payment of visiting teachers.

We would envisage maintaining this policy of employing visiting teachers who would cover various aspects of the curriculum in the coming years.

We would be thankful for your continued support and co-operation in this area. Each family is asked to contribute €10.00 per month. Envelopes are distributed to the eldest child in each family at the beginning of the month.
