6th class pupils are embracing all things wellbeing in their classroom.… Each morning 10 minutes is assigned to bringing our consciousness to the present moment. We have Mindful Mondays, meditating or colouring mandalas or mindfulness sheets. Talk it out Tuesday where they are challenged with scenarios that each pupil discusses and challenges thoughts. Wise words Wednesdays… we take quotes and interpret their meaning, and ask ourselves how they could apply to our lives. Thankful Thursday.. we practice gratitude for the smallest to the biggest things in our lives. Fab Friday.. we use our ipads to complete quizzes that point out the positive things that happened in our lives, from learning to at home, on the pitch or with our friends. Wellbeing is recognised as an essential part of our school day..
